My name is Angela Mayorga, and I am a proud Chicana writer from Los Angeles.
Currently, I am located in Riverside after completing my bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Riverside in Creative Writing at the young age of twenty!
I now plan on obtaining an associate’s degree in Film and Television Production, as well as going back to UCR for my master’s degree in Creative Writing.
Admittedly, being born into an immigrant family, my parents had high expectations of me and had done everything they could to ensure my success in life. Although English is my third language, following ASL and Spanish, I have dedicated many years into perfecting the language.
With the ideals of my parents residing within me, I made sure not to limit myself to simply writing one thing, but to write everything. My expertise not only includes the ficticious writing of stories, poetries, and novels, but as well as articles and scripts.
I hope that with all this knowledge and experience stored away, I will not only become a well published author, but to have the world watch my stories come to life on the big screen.

Outside of these hours, I am a loving dog mom of two beautifully insane female huskies who inspire me everyday to not only be a better writer, but to be a better person. These two munchkins help me find the beauty in the mundane and the motivation to keep creating.
